FAT HARRY'S : If you’re looking for a good time, Fat Harry’s beach bar and snack-bar is the place to be. It’s set beneath a thatched roof with a sunken bar and beautiful deck stretched out over crystal blue waters. During the day there’s no shortage of scenic views, as you sit back and enjoy a few cocktails and evening time is party time! Fat Harry’s is open from 10am until late.
THE RESORT SHOP : Spend a little time browsing around the Zanzibar Beach Resort shop offering local gifts and souvenirs as well as those little essentials.
FISHING : Deep sea and game fishing expeditions are available on 15 and 22 foot ski boats. All fishing trips can be arranged through the resort as well as a fishing excursion with the Zanzibar locals aboard a traditional Dhow. The Zanzibar Beach Resort has already achieved fishing accolades. Honours go to Jason Wright for holding the all Africa record for the largest Wahoo caught on one of the resorts fishing trips.
BEACH ACTIVITIES : Zanzibar is home to some of the most pristine beaches in the world. White sand, palm trees, beautiful shells and crystal clear ocean waters are a highlight of this paradise island.
From relaxing and soaking up the sun to volleyball, bike riding, petanque, jogging and beach games, you can make the most of all the exciting activities on offer. Horse riding as well as motorbike hire can also be arranged for trips along the beach.
