The hotel has one of the finest restaurants on the island where guests can dine in true fusion style. The food is served at tables on the beach, so you can feast on delicious cuisine while sitting barefoot under the stars. Even if you don't decide to stay at the hotel, try to make a point of visiting this romantic restaurant.
A great new addition to the existing restaurants is the Sushi bar, serving fresh sushi daily.
Besides the Sushi bar, they have opened a tropical therapy centre, where they administer tropical aroma therapy. The friendly staff at Mtoni Marine are willing to offer advice about a variety of excursions. You can also go cruising around the islands on the hotel's new dhow, the ‘Spice Coast Dhow’. This comes at a fee though.
The Bububu area is of historical interest as you'll find the ruins of two Sultan palaces as well as some interesting Persian baths. The hotel offers a relaxed, laid-back place to escape the hustle and bustle of Stone Town. We only recommend you spend a night or two here if you plan to really experience Stone Town, which is a 6km taxi drive away.

Mtoni Marine is as relaxed, laid back and comfortable as home. Situated on the west coast, only 5 minutes north of Stone Town and historically located on our private beach between The Maruhubi Palace and The Mtoni Palace Ruins. An ideal location from which to explore Stone Town and the rest of the island, while providing a peaceful retreat from it all.

From the Rest of the World : At present, Ethiopian Airlines and KLM (together with Kenya Airways) offer international scheduled flights to Zanzibar. Several large carriers fly into Dar es Salaam, which is only a short trip by air or sea from Zanzibar. Amongst them are British Airways, Swiss and Emirates Airlines.
From the Rest of Africa : Air Tanzania, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines have regular flights to Zanzibar. Dar es Salaam is also served by them, as well as Air Zimbabwe, Egypt Air, Air India, Air Malawi, South African Airways, Royal Swazi Airlines and others.

Bara Bara Rooms :
In August 2005 we opened 12 new Bara Bara Rooms; a two storey building with an architecture which combined East with West touches and styles overlooking the Frangipane trees..

The Club Rooms are cozy, authentically furnished with beautiful Zanzibar and Oman pieces,located in the middle of our lush tropical gardens.
Palm Court Rooms :
Our Palm Court Rooms are very romantic with Arabic Arches and lots of space. They are tiled, light and breezy and are the perfect honeymoon rooms overlooking the Indian Ocean with its mangroves and the nearby islands.The 4 Palm Courts upstairs have bathtubs from which you can enjoy the sunset!
