Day 1
Pick up from your hotel and drive up the North coast to the sleepy fishing village of Bagamoyo 70 kms north of Dar es salaam. Bagamoyo is the former capital of German East Africa. It was also one the centre of the notorious slave trade.

The city was also the starting point for the first explorers on their way to search for the source of the Nile, Livingstone, Burton and Speke all passed through Bagamoyo. Visit the Kaole ruins ,the mission museum and the temporary burial place of Livingstone. Lunch at a Paradise Beach resort. After lunch continue your journey North to Saadani National park. Dinner and overnight at Saadani safari Lodge.

Day 2
After breakfast enjoy a day in Saadani National Park, Tanzania’s first coastal Wildlife sanctuary. Here , if you are lucky you will sea while animals on the beach. You have the opportunity to do a walking safari, boat safari or game drive or relax on the beach. Full board at Saadani Safari Lodge which is located on the beach.

Day 3
After breakfast drive to Mikumi National park in time for lunch. . After lunch relax. Late afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park. This park is famous for its open grasslands and the mountain ranges that border the park. A full spectrum of wildlife can be viewed here including wild dog and over 300 species of bird. Dinner and Overnight at Vuma Hills Tented camp/ Mikumi Wildlife Camp/ Foxes Safari Camp.

Day 4
After breakfast drive with packed lunch to Udzungwa Mountain National Park. Enjoy a guided walk in this park famous for rare plants and primates including two that are endemic-Iringa Red Colobus and the Sanje crested mangabey. Walk in the lush rain forest and enjoy relaxing by water falls and spectacular views of the south west plateau. Late afternoon return to Vuma hills Tented Camp/ Mikumi Wildlife Camp/ Foxes Safari Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 5
After breakfast leave with packed lunch to the Selous via Morgoro, over the Uluguru mountains across rivers and past small local villages and farms and on to the Selous. The drive is quite long but possibly the most rewarding and adventures on the Tanzania Tourist Circuit. Late afternoon arrival in Sable mountain. There will be the opportunity to take short walks along the road in the Uluguru Mountains, visit Maasai Bomas. Dinner and overnight at Sable Mountain Lodge. Optional Night game drive.

Day 6
Full day game drive with packed lunch in the Western Selous including a visit to the hot springs. Dinner and overnight at Sable Mountain Lodge
Day7 After breakfast full day game drive in the Selous with packed lunch. This day you will drive across most of the Northern Selous and get the opportunity to see the best of Selous abundance of wildlife and birds. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp, Impala Camp or Selous safari Camp.

Day 8
After breakfast enjoy a walking safari in the Selous with armed ranger. Lunch at your chosen camp. After lunch enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River. Dinner and overnight at your chosen camp

Day 9
After breakfast transfer to airstrip for onward flight to Dar/ Zanzibar.
