Jimbiza Lodge
Jimbiza Lodge is in the buffer zone of Selous Game Reserve right on the banks of the Rufiji river, 4 kilometers from Mtemere gate.
Jimbiza Lodge aims to offer good value and great service for a lodge near the Selous Game Reserve. We have professional staff rooms with views over the Rufiji River and we offer lots of exciting excursions from the lodge on the river and in the Game Reserve.
All our rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious.
We have three different types of rooms that are all good in their own way.
BandasTanzania safari The bandas are Stylish in design, smaller but also a more secure feeling netting ceilings still keep you close to nature.They have nice views of the river. They are a favourite with our regular customers.
Riverside tentsTanzania safari-These are large and spacious giving you the feeling as if your right next to nature. They all have views directly onto the river. They all have ensuite bathrooms with showers and warm water. Guests can hear the sound of the bush babies and hippos during the night when the african bush comes alive
Treetops these are smaller than the riverside tents but are more secluded in the middle of the bush high up on a platform. Definitely for those who want more privacy.
