Kiota Camp Serengeti

Kiota Camp Serengeti opens in May 2015 and will be permanently based in Central Serengeti. Central Serengeti offers year-round game viewing and is thought to be one of the best places in Africa to spot large cats.

We recommend booking Kiota Camp in combination with our sister camp, Chaka Camp, for a total of 4 – 6 nights in the Serengeti. Chaka Camp is a mobile camp that moves three times a year to follow the wildebeest migration. While KiotaCamp‘s location is ideal for viewing year-round permanent game in the Central Serengeti area, Chaka’s follows the migrating wildebeest and zebra and the many predators that follow them. Chaka is located in Ndutu from December through March, Western Serengeti in May and June, and Northern Serengeti from July through November.
