Siringit Serengeti Camp by Mantis offers a bespoke safari experience in the heart of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The camp is located just 6km east of Seronera Airstrip and one hour’s drive from the Nabi Hill entrance to the Serengeti National Park.
About 300 species of mammals, of which are large mammals, and over 500 bird species can be found in the park. The highlight being witnessing millions of migrating wildebeest and zebra on the flat-topped Acacia plains. Nature lovers can sit back in a serene setting and watch the pale yellow grass rippling in the warm breeze while vultures circle overhead.
Siringit Serengeti Camp by Mantis has eight exclusive canvas tents designed to offer guests the optimal glamping experience. A two bedroom tent, which sleeps up to six people, is available to families. Guests can enjoy the endless African sky in a tranquil setting, with a fine whisky or cocktail in hand, or take a game drive and try and spot a lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant or black rhino.
Because of its natural beauty and the abundance of wildlife to be found in the area, the management of the Tanzania National Parks chose this site to host a group of visiting officials from Yellow Stone National Park in the United States. The site still appears on many official maps of the Serengeti National Park as “Yellow Stone.”
It is our privilege to call this idyllic spot ours from now on. The famous Hippo pool, the Serengeti Research Centre and the departure point for balloon Safaris are also conveniently close by.
Guest will find out it’s also only six kilometres east of Seronera Airstrip and just one hour’s drive from ‘Nabi Hill,’ the gateway to the Serengeti National Park for guests arriving by road from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
