The Residence
The Residences Zanzibar is the only member of “The Leading Hotels of the World” in Tanzania and a stunning tribute not only to contemporary style, but also to the island’s African, Omani and European heritage.
The resort is tucked away amidst 32 hectares (80 acres) of palm tree forests overlooking a mile-long white sand beach; its 66 villas distinguished by private pools. In order to explore the extensive gardens, bicycles or a buggy with driver are provided for you to roam the property.
All 66 villas are luxuriously appointed with contemporary, stylish furniture reminding guests of the island’s African and Omani heritage.
Every one features satellite TV, CD/DVD player in the living room, mini bar, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, mosquito nets, personal safe, tea and coffee making facilities, broadband internet access, air-conditioning and overhead fans in the living room and bedrooms.
On the deck outside, overlooking a private swimming pool (30 – 35 m2 and 1.2m deep), wicker chairs and day beds await the guests to relax in and enjoy the views. Bicycles are provided with each villa to explore the gardens and local area.
