Tilapia Hotel Mwanza in each room has been designed with a complete interior that assures you of a high class of accommodation and comfort! Most of the rooms have panoramic view of the Lake Victoria with seven of the rooms located on our house boat, the “African Queen” – a boat straight out of a world famous movie that featured Humphrey Bogart.
Hotel Tilapia has 4 luxurious suite rooms which contain a spacious living room with TV/ DVD player and a separate en-suite bedroom.
Hotel Tilapia has over 30 newly renovated rooms you can choose from, from lake view to garden view, depending on the availability. We also have ground floor and first floor rooms with balcony depending if you would like a double or twin bed.
The African queen is a boat situated at the front of the hotel. This boat ‘straight from a movie with Humphrey Bogart and Catherine Hepburn’ has 7 rooms. The unique details on the boat and the beautiful view over Lake Victoria will make it a unique experience.
