Humphrey

We just returned from a Tour in Tanzania. Our tour was booked with Tauck and that discriminating company contracts with Kearsleys. As part of our tour, we interacted with five Kearsleys guides. All were excellent and strived to make us comfortable, keep us safe and ensure we had the best experience possible. But we had a special connection with Humphrey. He happened to be the Kearsleys driver who picked us up at the airport and because of a mix up at the hotel, he was called out of bed at the last minute to escort us on a day long tour of the Arusha National Park two days later (we arrived in Tanzania a few days early before our official tour began). He also happened to be one of the five drivers who escorted our Tauck tour for the next twelve days. I can not explain what was different with Humphrey. It was as if The Lord God Almighty put him in our lives. We are experienced travelers and no guide has ever touched me or impacted me this way before. When we left Africa, I could barely look Humphrey in the eye without crying. I did not want to say goodbye to such a special friend. After returning home, I have prayed for Humphrey, his wife and children. I pray for God’s protection for him and that he will be Blessed beyond description.
