Safari Guides & Their 4x4 Vehicles
Our ambassadors are our Safari Guides, they have a minimum of 10 years of experience and highly knowledgeable in the fauna and flora of Tanzania and have great driving skills too. Some of them are multi lingual with European or Asian languages. Our Safari Guides every year are trained and have to go through a course of knowledge, vehicle handling, hospitality manner, and first aid & Covid 19 precaution. This is a two week all in one, crash course they must do every year.

Kearsleys owns 40 well maintained Safari Vehicles, after every Safari, vehicles go through a full inspection and maintenance. Our in-house Mechanics will liaise with our Safari Guides and fix any issues found or noticed immediately, prior the next Safari. A final check is done 24 hours prior a Safari, this is attended by The Safari Guide, The Manager and The Mechanic in charge, safety and quality is never compromised with us.

In the unlikely event of a breakdown (rare for sure, but it can happen), our back up vehicle/s and response team are on standby and ready for action. Any Kearsleys emergency, you and our Safari Guides are in direct contact with our Branch Managers and are available 24 hours 7 days a week. We have good relations with other stakeholders and hoteliers, this also helps, as they will assist Kearsleys during that short period, while our team is enroute. At no point will we leave you stranded, we will do our best to resolve the problem at hand with minimum delay.

Kearsleys is a Tanzanian Association of Tour Operators (TATO) member, offering a one stop shop solution in Tanzania, Zanzibar and other islands. We are also members of, Europe’s largest trade association which promotes Africa; African Travel & Tourism Association (ATTA), American Society Of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and Tanzania Society of Travel Agents (TASOTA). We are also proud to be a licenced member of International Air Transport Association (IATA).

If you're planning a safari, look no further than Kearleys in Tanzania. Our trip was seamless. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, easy to be with, engaging, fun and great with kids. We looked forward to seeing them again every morning. They were always on time, the jeeps were always clean and they were upbeat and ready to take us on our next adventure.Sebastian was the senior guide. He had all sorts of tales about escaping from lions and hippos over his 20+ years as a guide. Our teenage son has special needs and he took a liking to Sebastian, always wanting to be in his jeep. Sebastian was always patient with him and engaged him in conversation.Sam took special care of my parents, whose 50 year anniversary we were celebrating. They ended up forming a strong bond. He was fun to ride with and was always smiling and laughing.Jackson was the youngest and newest of the group and the teenagers wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. He too always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude.These guys are the best of the best. I would not do another safari without them. You will be well taken care of. You'll leave with a love for the African people because these guys represent the country and its people so well. Your brain will be full of new information. You'll leave Africa a better person for having spent time with the guides of Kearsleys- Sebastian, Sam and Jackson. You can request them by name and I suggest you do so!
